Did Getting “From Me to We” Published Change My Life? How about you? Are you looking for that ONE thing?

Someone recently asked me if getting my book published changed my life. Initially I told this person, no. No, not at all. But after getting home I began to think about it more fully. And I’d have to change my answer. Yes, yes it did change my life. I get to be on the radio, I’ve gotten more speaking opportunities, and my favorite, I run into people who love “From Me to We.” That is probably my favorite part about being a published author, hearing how my work has helped thousands of couples. What I set out to do was accomplished, and that was to help people.

Why did I say it didn’t change my life?

Because bottom gut check truth is that it really didn’t. No, it didn’t change the things about my life which I hold most dear. My relationship with my husband of over 35 years has not changed. I still love him, and want to be married to him. My relationship with my kids has not changed. It’s still good. My relationship and devotion to God has not changed. I still spend as much time with the Lord, actually, no, probably more time. The foundation of what was most important to me has not changed. I still have the same husband, the same house, the same car, and the same friends.

I am still a fan of my life.

How about you?

Are you waiting for that one thing to change your life?

Maybe you think that when you hit your goal weight life will be grand. Or maybe when you get that promotion? Or maybe when you purchase your dream house?

But what it most important to you in life?

When we keep what is most important a priority, and focus on our relationship with God, our foundation can never be rocked.

Think about the golden moments of pulling your little love out of their crib after naps and in the mornings. Few life experiences can top that. Agree?

Think about watching your child offer kindness to another. Precious moments. True?

Think about waking up snuggled next to the one you love. Can anything top that? Awesome!

Think about meeting a friend just to talk and catch up. Glorious! How much do you enjoy that?

Think about sitting outside and listening to the birds chirp and feeling the raze of the sun’s light warm your body. When was the last time you did that? A true gift from God!

“And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

-Phil. 4:19

When we lean on God he will give us all we need. Be sure to stand on the rock solid foundation of Jesus Christ.

Fondly,

Lu
